A few of the photos documenting the start of the fitting-out of new offices for NFU Mutual at Cromwell Street Quay, Stornoway. Good to see long-established local businesses expanding into larger premises.
I will be returning at regular intervals to photograph the fitting-out until its completion.
The refurbished Lews Castle and the new Museum and Archive in Stornoway are both now open to the public. The brochure published by Natural Retreats, who run the Castle, contains 29 of my photographs.

Museum nan Eilean’s new base in Stornoway, connected to the newly refurbished Lews Castle, will be opening its doors to the public on Thursday, 14th July. Displays in the new museum will include photographic exhibitions, many archaeological finds, Viking silver hoards and six of the world famous Lewis Chess pieces discovered in Uig, Isle of Lewis in 1831.
